Hyvä is the next-generation frontend for Magento 2. Instead of the old, heavy Luma theme, it is built on lightweight Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js. The result is far less JavaScript, faster page loads and smoother mobile shopping.
Hyvä only replaces the “face” of your webshop: the Magento admin, products, orders and integrations stay. We build new Hyvä webshops or migrate your existing Magento store to Hyvä.

- Module compatibility: we audit your extensions and, where no Hyvä support exists yet, we write the compatibility layer.

How a Hyvä project works
1. Audit
We review your webshop, extensions and integrations, and tell you what works under Hyvä right away and what needs development.
2. Design
We work from a Figma design or your existing brand, with the mobile view in mind from day one.
3. Development and testing
We work in agile sprints. You follow progress on the project board and can try the new storefront on a test environment.
4. Launch and support
We launch with redirects and a checked go-live, then look after your webshop under a support contract.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to replace my whole webshop for Hyvä?
No. Hyvä is the frontend of Magento 2: the back end, the admin and your data stay, only the storefront your customers see is rebuilt.
Will my current extensions work with Hyvä?
Most popular extensions have a Hyvä-compatible version. In the audit we list which ones need extra work, and we build it.
What about the checkout?
You can keep the existing Luma checkout alongside Hyvä, or move to Hyvä Checkout. Which one is worth it depends on your webshop’s needs.
I have a Magento 1 webshop. Can we go straight to Hyvä?
Yes. We can move you to Magento 2 and build the Hyvä frontend in one project, as we did for Zooloox.
